Greatest Dad of all TIME

Happy Father's day to the greatest dad of all TIME!
This year's father's day revolved around the theme of time: opening a gift every hour on the hour that correlated with the assigned time to open the gift.

The gifts started at 7:00 a.m. and went all day, every hour until 8:00 p.m. when I had to take off and drive to Pendleton for the night. I had to get to Salt Lake City for my own Father's Day celebration the following day! I was also headed to Utah to bring Karsyn home from BYU for the summer!
Here are the list of gifts Scott received throughout the day:

7:00 A.M.
You've often been found driving kids to school at this hour because they either slept in, it was raining hard or they needed to get to Seminary. (Car Freshener)
8:00 A.M.
We are grateful for all the early morning SHOC 5K walk/runs we did as a family every August (running shirt)

9:00 A.M.
Thanks for teaching us the value of hard work by waking us up "Bright and early" on Saturday's for yard work (Garden Hose)

10:00 A.M.
You were often found at this time of the day on Saturdays coaching your son's in basketball or football (TrailBlazers Basketball long-sleeve T-shirt)

11:00 A.M.
You are usually found at the hospital or medical office at this time of day healing people and saving lives (Prescription bottle full of chocolate)

12:00 P.M.
Lunch date with dad = Panera date!
(Panera gift card)

1:00 P.M.

We would often get a text about this time of day from you while we were still at school  - you were just checking in to see how our test or project went that day!                                                  ("Founding Brothers" book to continue learning)

2:00 P.M.

Even though we don't want to admit it, we look back on all those Saturday afternoon hikes with fondness. (Hiking water bottle and carrier)

3:00 P.M.

Fun memories of a spontaneous game of golf when you got off work early. (golf tees)

4:00 P.M.
You were such a great example of keeping the Sabbath Day holy and a day of rest by falling asleep on the couch by 4:00 pm every Sunday. (Bath Fizzers)

5:00 P.M.

We love those calls we get from you as you are driving home from work, just to say you love us.
(Car phone charger)

6:00 P.M.

Dinner time on Vacations with you is the best! Shakes for everyone! Every day!
(home delivery of 6 healthy home-cooked meals for when mom was gone that week)

7:00 P.M.
A full day at work and then off to church for a full night of interviews! Thanks for you example of service and faith dad! (Two new ties for work and church interviews)

And even after the entire day of gifts revolving around TIME and dad being called the greatest dad of all TIME, he never guessed that all these gifts were just leading up to his real gift...an apple watch!

Happy Father's Day dad! You really are the greatest dad of all TIME! We love you!
