Right face, Right face, Left face!

Karsyn had 2 more dance competitions after the Union competition to finish out her dance season (I love the 2 month middle school dance season).

She had fun meeting up with her friend, Lexi, who was dancing with Prairie Highschool.  Karsyn and Lexi used to be on the same gymnastics team and Lexi quit gymnastics for dance about a year after Karsyn.

Her second competition was at Skyview Highschool and just like the first one, Pacific came home with a first place trophy in both their dances!  But the really exciting part for us was watching Karsyn in the Drill Down competition.  We had no idea she would do so well with this being her first year on the dance team but she earned herself a 2nd place medal!  That is pretty impressive since each Drill Down competition starts with over a hundred girls!
No wonder she did so well!  Look at the way she is intimidating the other girls! I would be afraid, very afraid!

This is their Hip Hop dance and Karsyn had no problems hamming it up!  She even admitted that her face hurt after performing from smiling so hard!

The middle school teams are the only ones that try to earn the "spirit" award at the competitions.  By highschool the girls just don't care!  I wish the middle school girls didn't care, or at least could learn more than one chant!
This is their lyrical dance and it was beautiful.

Karsyn knew she wanted to finish off the season strong and that she did!  She came home with 2 first place trophies again for both their dances and a first place trophy for the Drill Down competition!  I have no idea how she remembers all those commands but it is pretty impressive!

That is the face of a very happy girl!  We are so proud of her and love watching her put 100% into everything she does!
