Blue and Gold

Our Blue and Gold Banquet theme this year was "Camping and Recycling".  I was in charge of the chocolate-dipped marshmallows for the centerpieces.  The gym looked great and everyone had a great time. 

Of course, each cub scout brought in a theme-centered cake for the cake "contest" which supplied our dessert for the night.  Will decided to go with the camping theme and we made a giant Smore cake with the biggest home-made graham cracker known to man!

 The boys spent some time at the recycling center at the back of the gym, making their unique creations from a bag of recycled items.

Glad that is over!  Now just one more big cub scout pack meeting for the year....Pinewood Derby!!!!
