BYU Camp
Bright and early the morning after Dance Festival we were off on a two-week Road Trip.
Karsyn was signed up to do a 5-day Gymnastics Camp at BYU. This camp is run by the BYU team's head coach, Brad Cattermole but mostly taught by the team girls themselves. She loved every minute of it but did leave with one regret. When signing up for camp we could have chosen to stay on campus in the dorms or commute from grandma's house in SLC. We decided to commute since Karsyn didn't know anyone else going to camp to room with and she wanted to have all the time possible to see family. After getting to camp, we soon learned that 57 out of the 60 girls at camp were staying on campus. After gym time, the campus girls had dinner, counselor time, movies, games, talent shows, and water park visits! She felt like she missed so much on campus this year that next year she is willing to go and be paired up with anyone! I totally support her wish after a week of driving 4 hours a day to get her to and home from camp every day!

Grandma and cousin Hadley came up to Provo on the last day of camp to watch Karsyn show off all her new tricks.
Karsyn had a really great time making new friends at camp
Coach Brad

After camp was over Coach Brad called Karsyn one of his superstars! He told me to keep her in gymnastics so that in a few years he could recruit her!
BYU Teammates Natalie and Haylee
