No more training wheels!

We have been talking to Will about the possibility of taking his training wheels off this summer.  He was never fond of that possibility.  One day a few weeks ago while I was gone to Young Women's, Karsyn took off his training wheels.  Scott then tried to work with him but he would have nothing to do with it.  He just cried and said he didn't want to ride his bike that way.  So Scott sent him up to his bed with orders to stay there until he could come out and try it like a big boy.  A few minutes later he came out of his room ready to go.  Then just a few short minutes after that he was riding his bike all by himself!  He was so excited to show me when I got home.  I asked him how he got brave enough to try it on his ow.  He told me that he went up to his room and prayed to God that he would be able to ride his bike quick and not fall down and then he knew he could do it!  Way to go Will!

Aww, that is so sweet. Cameron and Rilee were the same way. They didn't want to try without training wheels, and when they finally tried they both rode right away. Of course, Cameron did it first and that pressured Rilee into doing it!

Way to go Will. You are a fast learner. Is it my imagination or does it look like Will is ready for a bigger bike?
Maybe he just needs the seat up higher. His knees are right up there with the handlebars. He is a big boy, for sure!
