New hair, New eyes!

Bad news is Layton did not pass the school eye exam.  Good news is that the opthamologist didn't think his sight was quite as bad the school did.  Nevertheless, the Doctor thought Layton would benefit from getting glasses.  And of course, just like most 8 year-olds, Layton was just as excited to get glasses.  After he picked them out he had to wait an entire week for the prescription to be made. He asked everyday when I thought they might be ready.  It was a happy day for him when they finally called saying his glasses were ready!  Somehow we also talked (forced) him into getting his hair cut.  He was not happy about it at all. But as soon as I finished cutting his hair he ran and put on his glasses.  Then he said, "My glasses kindof look better with my haircut".  I guess that means he is ok with it now!

He does look very cute with the glasses! Now he can really look like Clark Kent...oh...you mean to tell me he isn't still wearing his superman jammies under his clothes to school? Well I am sure he will think of someone else that wears glasses too. Harry Potter?
