Favorite Rushing Quotes from 2008
Quotes from Will
Will: Mom, I just want to be recognized, ya know, when your body turns all perfect.
Mom: You mean “resurrected”
Will: Yes, everyone in my school has been resurrected, but not me.
Mom: No one in your class has been resurrected
Will: Yes they have, they don’t have any coughs like I do.
Will trying to figure out exactly what his mom is...
“Mom, you are a person, but really you are a mom.”
“Mom, you are a little bit teenager but lots of mom.”
“Mom, you are almost like a nurse” (after putting a bandaid on his friend)
“Mom, you are so much like a nurse because you do so many things, but you are not like a doctor because you would need to do lots more things.”

Mom: Kennedy, you have to drive on the right side of the road!
Kennedy: I keep thinking it is the left side
Mom: No, that would be how you do it in London
Kennedy: I always knew I should have been French!
(yes, she did pass the AP World geography test last year!)
Heidi got a box of See’s chocolates from the Young Women at church for her birthday. Kennedy ate one that was coffee-flavored.
Kennedy: After realizing it was coffee-flavored she asked me very seriously and a little panicked, “Do I need to go repent for this?”

We were driving around in the car, noticing the drop in gas prices.
Karsyn to mom: What did gas cost when you were born? uh...I mean...oops, I forgot, they didn’t have cars when you were born.
I was telling Karsyn about how we went camping a lot while I was growing up, but we didn’t camp in tents, we camped in trailers.
Karsyn: That is my favorite kind of camping.
Mom: You have never been trailer camping.
Karsyn: That is why it is my favorite!
