I've been educated!

Another amazing and re-energizing week at BYU Education Week! I was able to learn so many great things, feel the spirit so strong, and leave wanting to be such a better person, wife, mother, daughter and friend. It is impossible to write about all the wonderful new insights I have gained but I thought I would at least share some of my favorite quotes from the weeks classes. Some of them might lose a lot of their meaning without knowing the whole topic of the class, so if you feel like you are missing something, you probably are! So don't miss out and come with us next year!
Believing is seeing, not the other way around.
Don’t throw away what you know for what you don’t know.
Talking with the Father is a privilege. We are living below that privilege.
The way to righteousness is personal revelation.
When did my wild oats turn to prunes and all bran?
She who plans to fail, fails to plan.
Obedience is more important than emotional satisfaction and a right spirit is better than
a merry heart.
Periods of unrest are evidence of the Lord’s trust in you.
It is better to be trusted than loved.
Busy is not a matter of time, it is a matter of choice. When do we stop doing and start being?
Don’t let small things crowd out that which is essential.
The Lord’s way is not to finish first or fastest, but how many people we can help along the way.
Every blessing is a test, and every test a blessing.
The “F” word in cleaning......FINISH!!!
Each person has their unique path - don’t compare paths!
Women learn love and charity through motherhood, men learn love and charity through the Priesthood.
The whole of the church is greater than it’s parts.
Faith is not a feeling, it is a decision.
Obeying and living the gospel supports us in our trials, it doesn’t eliminate our trials.
Gratitude is an expression of faith and a saving principle.
We cannot limit God’s ability to love us, but we can limit his ability to bless us.
In this life we will be punished by our sins, in the next life we will be punished for our sins. (this of course if we do not take advantage of the atonement in our lives)
