Tag - no tag backs!

Well, I have been tagged again by my sister Brittany.  Who knew my family enjoyed the game of tag so well?  This tag is to give more information about my husband (and us).  Being that is Valentine's Day I guess it is an appropriate post.  


What is his name? Rodney Scott Rushing - known as Scott to friends and family and R. Scott to the Medical and Professional world
How long have you been married? 16 years last November
How long did you date? 5 1/2 months
How old is he? The big 4-0!
Who eats more? He does
Who said I love you first? I did.
Who is smarter? Definitely Scott, he married me didn't he?
Whose temper is worse? Mine
Who does the laundry? Me.
Who does the dishes? Me.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? It depends if you are laying in the bed or looking at the bed! Looking at the bed, he does. But he changes that every 6 months depending on if he thinks he should be closest to the bathroom (did I mention he is 40!) or closest to the phone.
Who pays the bills? Me.
Who cooks dinner? Me
Who drives when you are together? Scott.
Who is more stubborn? Tie!
Whose parents do you see the most? Mine - my parents are retired and have flying privileges
Who proposed? I guess I did, though it was more of a statement than a question
Who has more friends? Scott, he keeps up with everyone and says I am a bad friend because I never do.
Who has more siblings? I do.
Who wears the pants in the family? Scott does with some things and I do with others.

I am working on it! You know I have double on which to report! And now you have added a 3rd kid to the mix!! I keep telling myself that if I accomplish "this and that" then I can post...I am still working on "this and that!!"

Don't worry Heidi I will make up for my sisters' lack of participation and do your tag. I think it will be a little boring though. I know Julie you have a lot of "this and that" but you should blog about it! It makes life interesting for the rest of us

Heather sends us at least one vacation deal to look at each month. In September 2020 she showed us a sale on airfare to Hawaii over Scott's birthday. We had such a fun time there in January 2020 that it didn't take us long to commit and we booked airfare to Maui. We soon realized we couldn't find any affordable lodging in Maui that also offered free cancellation. Generous cancellation policies are definitely a must in these crazy COVID times. Paris

So here is a look at our trip to Paris.  It might be more than most of you care to read!  I just copied and pasted emails we sent home while on our trip.  This is more for my benefit than anyone else's since this blog is the closest I have come to keeping a journal.  Hope you enjoy the journey- we sure did! View from our Seine River Cruise Day One We have the tiniest little room way up at the very top of a very narrow skinny hotel. It reminds us of the love dungeon (our first basement apartment) but it is up at the top so we called it our "love tower"! The bed is a double and you can only stand up straight in the room if you are standing on Scott's side of the bed! The tub is half size (I think they made it for Napoleon).  But I slept great. The weather was amazing! After getting in it was too early to get our room so we left our bags at the hotel and walked around for about an hour while waiting to meet up with the Parkers again. Memorable highlights and sayings from 2007

January Highlight: Staying at our friends cabin up by Mt. St. Helens. Just a quick drive up the mountain and we had plenty of snow for sledding and great views of St. Helens. January Quote: Scott and I were in the car with Cassidy. I was complaining about how tired I had been. It didn't see m to matter if I slept 4 hours or 8 hours, I always felt tired. Cassidy who had been relatively quiet up till this point pipes up and says, "maybe you are going through menopause." Scot t and I started laughing and then Cassi dy admitted she didn't even know what that meant, she had just heard it in "F ather the Bride II".
