"If you're not first, you're last" ....Ricky Bobby

With all the dark forces at work in the world today we didn't feel safe sending Layton as a lone Jedi out into the dark Halloween night. Poor Bailey was the only one left without an alternate identity picked out for the special occasion so the responsibility fell on her. Therefore, another Jedi master was born...Bailey meet Yoda!

This is the kids after a full night of "Trick-or-Treating". As you can see, Will is already coming down off his sugar high. Kennedy thinks she is still of age to beg for candy but we have been less than impressed with her "costumes" over the past few years. It is hard to tell her school pictures from her Halloween pictures. She informed us that she was "Sharpay" from "High School Musical" this year. Cassidy was Tracy Turnblad from "Hairspray". Karsyn was Hannah Montana (notice the resemblance to Ricky Bobby's wife?), Layton was a Star Wars Jedi of course and Will was "The Thing" from "fantastic Four". We did a Trunk-or-Treat at the church and then hit up our neighborhood. We had great weather, not a raindrop anywhere in sight!

I saw this costume online and knew that when I couldn't stop laughing, I just had to buy it for Scott. He was such a good sport about it too - he saw an office full of patients that day as Ricky Bobby. His office staff didn't know which was the funniest, his costume or the fact that Dr. Rushing actually dressed up as Ricky Bobby! I am not quite sure what I was - either his 'smokin' hot wife' or Hannah Montana's (karsyn) mom!

Very cute costumes! I thought Karsyn was Cassidy there for a minute with the wig on. I guess I am just not used to your girls being so grown up yet! I like your pre-trick-or-treating meal too. Very festive!

I like how you say that Scott was a good sport, I bet he was loving every minute of it and saying "Shake n bake" all day long. Looks like you guys had fun, and I love the costumes!
